Private Rocky Film Locations Tour Details

A private tour with Philadelphia Urban Adventures is always a completely custom itinerary, created just for you and your group! A private Rocky Tour can be from two hours – 10 hours, depending on the destination. Pick-up and Drop-off locations are the group’s choice. While many visitors to Philadelphia have specific sites they would like to see, many are happy to let our team create a custom itinerary that fits their interests, budget, mobility, and timeline. Typically, tours spend most of their time in and around Philadelphia, but we welcome any ideas for your dream tour.

No two groups are alike and we plan a trip tailored to your group’s interests, budget, and needs. Below are some sample itineraries to use as inspiration for your perfect Philly filming locations tour:

Highlights Tour: A tour designed to hit some of Rocky’s must-see spots may include a stop at Mighty Mick’s Gym and Rocky’s house, a ride along the Schuylkill River, and, of course, a run up the Rocky Steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. These two or three-hour movie tours are usually focused on driving, with limited time to explore on foot.

Half-Day Tour: A half-day tour allows more opportunity for you to take full advantage of being on a driving tour. Visit all of the must-see spots from the classic Rocky, as well as having time to explore locations from other movies and in other neighborhoods – like driving through the Italian Market (don’t get hit by an orange!) and going into South Philly to see the church where Rocky and Adriane married and the famous Pat’s cheesesteak restaurant.

Full-Day Tour: A full-day tour gives you the chance to explore filming locations from all of the Rocky movies (including Creed!). Head down to South Philly to see the dockyards and the site where the Spectrum once stood, grab lunch at Pat’s King of Steaks or Max’s (as seen in Creed), explore the neighborhoods where many scenes for Creed were filmed, ride through the beautiful and historic Laurel Hill Cemetery, or take some time to check out other top spots around the city.
