Get ready to turn Historic Philadelphia into Saffron City!
Your tour starts at the Philly Tour Hub in the heart of Old City. Once you meet your guide and fellow trainers, start incubating a new egg to prepare for your adventure while you hear about the origins and founding of Philadelphia, the City of “Butterfree” Love.
Then, your local guide (you can call them Professor Willow) will take you on a walk throughout Historic Philadelphia to discover famous sites, beautiful architecture, and hidden gems only locals know. Philadelphia is swarming with PokéStops, so you'll have plenty of chances to catch new ones. Once you start out, your first stop will be the oldest continuously occupied residential street in the country, where you can marvel at the 32 beautiful colonial homes – and maybe catch #032 himself, Nidoran.
After exploring quaint streets nearby, we head toward one of Philly’s most historic churches, where your guide/professor will show you views of America’s Colonial skyscraper.
You'll probably need some refreshments at this point of your PokéTour and we don't want you getting too “Drowzee.” Your guide will steer you towards a local coffee shop for a quick break and a chance to purchase a beverage. Don't worry, it's close to another PokéStop, so the fun can continue!
Then you'll make your way towards Independence National Historical Park and check out several of the iconic spots in Philadelphia. Enjoy views of Independence Hall as you make your way through the grassy park – a perfect place to catch a Caterpie, Weedle, or Oddish, if they're around.
Your group will then zip over to Washington Square, one of William Penn's original city squares. Today, the square serves as fantastic green space for the surrounding neighborhoods, as well has being home to several points of interest that could attract all types of Pokémon.
Finally, head to Independence Beer Garden, where your tour will conclude. You'll be finishing at the perfect spot to grab a celebratory drink, refuel on delicious food, relax with views of the National Park or to head out for more Poké-hunting!
Please note that we cannot guarantee the sighting or catching of specific Pokémon on this tour, even if they are named in the tour description.
