There’s no better way to get to know the city of Philadelphia — its people, food, traditions, and spirit — than to experience the city during festival season. Philadelphia festivals are legendary for bringing together the best in street food, music, art, beer, and entertainment. And we’re going to take you out to celebrate all that’s wonderful in Philadelphia.
This tour is never the same thing twice, as each weekend will feature different festivals. Your Philly tour will take you through a variety of local neighborhoods, with a unique adventure in store for you at each stop. Beer festivals, art festivals, food festivals, neighborhood celebrations… there are so many reasons to party during the spring and fall seasons in the city! You’ll have a chance to experience the best variety of cultural festivals available on any given weekend. Follow us on Facebook to find out which festival we’ll be visiting on which dates.
You’ll begin your journey in the heart of the Old City. From our home base, we’ll travel as the locals do on public transit to the first festival. Along the way, your guide will give you background on the host neighborhood, including its history, quirks, and traditions.
Once you arrive at the first festival, your guide will give you insider tips on their favorite food vendors, the best places to grab a beer, and, if applicable, a schedule of entertainment events at the festival. You’ll have a chance to explore and enjoy on your own for a bit, or you can hang out with your ultra-cool fun-time guide, of course!
The group will meet again and move on to festival number two of the day. You’ll be treated to the experience of another festival with a completely different neighborhood, different atmosphere, and different vibe. Depending on the weekend, we might have a chance to visit a bonus third festival.
You can choose how to conclude your tour. You’ll have the option of either traveling back to Old City with your guide or, if you’re having too much fun, you can opt to stay at the final festival of the day and continue to party in the streets of Philadelphia.
